Invoices
Termpact issues an invoice for every B2B order placed on payment terms, numbered in your own series (Settings → Invoices). Edits to the order issue a credit note and a new invoice, so issued numbers never change.
Finding invoices
Section titled “Finding invoices”Money owed → Invoices lists invoices newest first. Filter by:
- Status: Open (everything still owed), Overdue (oldest due first), Partly paid, Paid, Disputed, Written off, Refunded, Cancelled, Replaced, or All.
- Company and Currency.
One invoice
Section titled “One invoice”The invoice page shows:
- the amount, what is still open, the due date (and Shopify’s due date when your custom terms differ), the PO number and a link to the order;
- the PDF (each change makes a new version);
- payments applied, including ones that were later reversed;
- credit notes and adjustments;
- reminders: planned, sent or skipped, with the reason when one was skipped (paid in Shopify, disputed, the company opted out…);
- the full history of the invoice.
Actions
Section titled “Actions”Owners, admins and credit managers can:
- Send reminder now: emails the payment reminder straight away (at most once a day per invoice). Before it goes out, Termpact checks the order in Shopify; if it was paid meanwhile, nothing is sent.
- Mark as disputed, with the buyer’s reason. Reminders pause while a dispute is open.
- Resolve dispute: the buyer pays in full, the dispute is withdrawn, you issue a credit note for part of it, or you write off the rest.
- Write off what is still open, with a reason. The order in Shopify isn’t changed.
Viewers see everything but can’t change it.
