Purchase orders by email and upload
Buyers can send purchase orders two ways: email to your PO inbox, or upload on your storefront (the PO upload block). Every one lands in Orders to check for review.
Settings → Purchase orders → PO inbox shows your store’s purchase-order address. Buyers email PDFs, images or spreadsheets to it, or you forward them.
- Termpact accepts mail from a buyer’s contact email, or from addresses you add under Trusted forwarders (your own sales inbox, for example).
- Mail that fails sender checks (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), or comes from someone Termpact doesn’t know, is quarantined for you to look at rather than read.
- Files are scanned for malware before anything reads them.
Upload
Section titled “Upload”Signed-in B2B buyers open the PO upload page from the storefront block, pick the company location and upload the file. They see the result once you’ve reviewed it.
What Termpact does with a PO
Section titled “What Termpact does with a PO”It reads the document (PO number, lines, quantities, units), matches each line to your products by SKU, barcode, your saved aliases or a close description, and prices it for the buyer’s location. Documents of more than 500 lines are split into parts. You then review it side by side with the page and create the draft orders.
Termpact never follows instructions written in a document; it only reads order lines from it.
