Companies and price lists

Customers lists every B2B company location in your store, with the price list its buyers get. Companies and locations you create in Shopify appear within a minute.

  • One location — open it, choose the group and Save.
  • Several — tick the locations, choose the group and Assign price list. To change every location that matches your filters, tick the page’s box and then Select all matching locations (up to 5,000 at a time).
  • Remove price list gives the selected locations your regular prices again.

Filter by price list (including No price list), currency or name to find the locations you want.

A location gets the group’s prices once the group is active. A location of a company that isn’t using Termpact yet needs a free company slot on your plan; Termpact tells you when you’ve reached the limit and which plan has room.

The Active company badge shows companies that count towards your plan. Native catalog marks locations that buy through a Shopify catalog instead (Shopify Plus conversion); Termpact doesn’t discount those.

Open a location to give it prices of its own, for variants and currencies you choose. They beat every rule of its price list, but only for that location.

Shopify limits the size of the field that carries a location’s prices. The Company price capacity meter shows how full it is and about how many more company-only prices fit. When it fills up, move the company-only prices into a price list of their own for that company.

View as this buyer opens Check a price for the location, so you can check what its buyers pay for any cart.

On a company location’s page, Price sheet gives you what that location pays, to send to the buyer or keep for your records:

  • Download CSV — every item with its SKU, regular price, the location’s price, quantity prices, the price list and the date. It opens in any spreadsheet.
  • Create PDF — the same list as a printable sheet with your store’s name and address. It takes a few seconds for large catalogs; then choose Download the PDF. The download link works for 10 minutes, and the file is kept for 7 days.

Prices are in the location’s currency. When Shopify has a price for the location (for example from a market or catalog), the sheet starts from it; otherwise it converts your store price at a reference rate and says so. Quantity prices are listed only when they lower the price. A sheet lists up to 5,000 items.
